Changes & Cancellations Policy
At Bovatee, we aim to move orders into pack-out, labeling, and carrier handoff quickly. This policy explains who can request cancellation, when cancellation is available, how to submit a request, and how refunds are handled. This policy aligns with Bovatee’s Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy. All charges and refunds are processed in USD.
1) Cancellation window
You may request cancellation within 24 hours after checkout and only before carrier handoff.
Cancellation is not available if any of the following has occurred:
The shipment has been handed to the carrier
The carrier has registered the shipment in its network (first scan or pickup confirmation)
For international shipments, export processing has begun within the carrier system
If the 24-hour window has passed or carrier handoff has occurred, you can still use the Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy after delivery (subject to eligibility and the 20-day return window).
2) Changes to an order (address or details)
Requests to change an order—such as updating the address, correcting contact details, or changing items—are treated as a cancellation request + new order placement, because carrier labels and shipping records must remain consistent.
Most changes are only possible:
within 24 hours of checkout, and
before carrier handoff
If a change request is received after carrier handoff, changes are typically not possible. If a carrier offers a paid reroute option, any fees charged by the carrier may be payable by the customer.
3) How to submit a cancellation request
Email: Send your request to [email protected] within 24 hours of checkout.
Please include:
Order ID
The email address or phone number used at checkout
A short message stating “Cancel my order”
Subject line (recommended): Cancel Order #[Order ID]
Confirmation: Bovatee will reply by email to confirm whether the order is still eligible for cancellation. To protect customers, we may request a quick identity confirmation.
You may also use the site contact form, but email is the fastest method to timestamp your request.
4) Refunds for approved cancellations
If a cancellation is approved, Bovatee issues a full refund in USD to the original payment method.
Refund processing time: Bovatee initiates the refund within 5 business days after confirming the cancellation.
Banks and payment providers may take additional time to post funds, depending on their internal schedules.
Currency note: If your card/PayPal account uses another currency, your provider applies its own exchange rate and any fees. Any difference is caused by your provider, not by Bovatee.
Authorization holds: If your issuer placed a pending authorization, it may drop automatically or convert according to your bank’s timeline.
5) After the cancellation window
After 24 hours, or after carrier handoff, cancellation is generally not available. You may use the Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy after delivery, subject to eligibility.
6) Cancellations initiated by Bovatee
In rare cases, Bovatee may cancel an order (for example, if a payment cannot be confirmed or a security check is not completed). If this happens, a refund is issued in USD to the original payment method.
7) Your rights & local law
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory statutory consumer rights. Where local law grants additional rights (including EU/UK withdrawal rights where applicable), those rights apply.
