Welcome to Bovatee. These Terms govern your use of https://bovatee.com (the “Website”), set expectations between you and Bovatee, and define the rules that apply when you place an order. By accessing the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the following policies, which are incorporated by reference:
All prices, charges, and refunds are shown and processed in USD. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or place an order.
1) Using the Website
You agree to use the Website lawfully and respectfully. You must not attempt to disrupt or misuse the Website, including (without limitation) unauthorized access attempts, malware uploads, data harvesting, scraping in violation of applicable law, or reverse engineering.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to place an order.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. The Website may include links to third-party sites; those sites have their own policies and Bovatee is not responsible for them.
2) Products, pricing & accuracy
We aim to present product information accurately (photos, descriptions, materials, dimensions, and pricing). However:
Natural material variance: Some items may use natural materials that can vary in grain, tone, knots, or surface texture. These are not considered defects.
Screen differences: Colors may look different depending on your device and display settings.
What’s included: Only the components listed on the product page are included with your purchase.
Care & use: Follow any care or usage guidance provided with the product.
Prices and availability can change without notice. If an error occurs (for example, pricing or listing details), Bovatee may correct it and may cancel affected orders. If we cancel an order, you will receive a refund in USD.
3) Orders, payments, taxes & cancellations
3.1 Order acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is considered accepted when we send an order confirmation email and payment is successfully authorized/processed.
3.2 Payments (USD)
Payments are handled according to the Payment Policy. We do not store full card numbers or CVV. All charges and refunds are processed in USD.
3.3 Taxes, duties & customs
Taxes and any import-related charges are handled according to the Shipping & Delivery Policy. Where DDP is supported and applied, applicable charges may be included at checkout in USD and nothing should be paid at delivery.
3.4 Changes & cancellations
Changes and cancellations are handled under the Changes & Cancellations Policy:
Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of checkout and before carrier handoff.
After carrier handoff, cancellation is not available.
If cancellation is approved, refunds are initiated within 5 business days (bank posting times vary).
4) Shipping & delivery
Shipping terms are governed by the Shipping & Delivery Policy. Key points:

Tracking is provided by email.
Some shipments may require an adult signature for higher-value consignments (shown in tracking/email when applicable).
Inspect deliveries promptly. If there is damage, contact us within 72 hours with photos/video as described in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
5) Returns, exchanges & refunds
Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by the Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy. Key points:
Return window: 20 days from delivery (for eligible returns).
Issue reporting window: 72 hours from delivery for damage/defect/wrong item claims.
Refund timing: Refunds are initiated within 5 business days after the return arrives and passes inspection.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method in USD (store credit may be available on request).
Statutory consumer rights (including EU/UK rights where applicable) are not limited by these Terms.
6) Your content & intellectual property
6.1 Website content
All content on the Website (text, images, graphics, logos, videos, design, and software) is owned by Bovatee or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Website content without written permission.
6.2 User submissions
If you submit reviews, photos, or other content, you grant Bovatee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content for store, marketing, and social media purposes (credit where feasible). You confirm you have the rights to submit the content and it does not violate laws or the rights of others. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
7) Warranties, safety & care
If a warranty is offered, it applies as described in the warranty materials provided with the product or on the relevant product page.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, except for any express warranty we provide, the Website and products are provided “as is” and we disclaim implied warranties where legally permitted. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded remain fully in force.
You are responsible for using products safely and following any instructions provided.
8) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bovatee is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. For any claim, our total liability will not exceed the USD amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, carrier disruptions, strikes, governmental actions).
9) Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed as follows, while preserving mandatory consumer protections:
United States: State of California (CA)
United Kingdom & Europe (UK, FR, DE, ES, IT, BE, PT): your local mandatory consumer laws apply
Canada: applicable federal and provincial/territorial laws
Australia: laws of the Commonwealth of Australia
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. These Terms and the policies referenced above form the entire agreement between you and Bovatee regarding Website use and orders.
10) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or service changes. The updated version will be posted on the Website with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
