Payment Policy
At Bovatee, payments on https://bovatee.com are designed to be straightforward and secure. This document explains the payment methods we accept, how transactions are handled, the currency used, which methods are not supported, and how financial information is protected. This policy aligns with Bovatee’s Shipping & Delivery Policy, Changes & Cancellations terms, and Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy. All charges and refunds are processed in USD.
1) Accepted payment methods
Credit / Debit Cards
We accept major cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Select “Credit/Debit Card” at checkout and enter details on our secure payment form.
Charges are submitted at checkout. Your bank may require additional verification (e.g., CVV, billing ZIP/Postcode, or 3-D Secure/SCA).
Bovatee does not store full card numbers or CVV codes. Payments are handled by PCI DSS–compliant processors (e.g., Stripe) and transmitted over SSL/TLS.
A temporary authorization may appear first and then convert to the final charge depending on issuer behavior.
Approved refunds return to the original card; posting time depends on your bank.
PayPal
Choose PayPal at checkout and complete payment in your PayPal account.
If PayPal uses an eCheck/bank transfer, shipment-related steps begin only after PayPal confirms clearance.
Refunds are returned to your PayPal balance or original funding source per PayPal’s rules.
Verification for higher-value orders
To reduce fraud and protect customers, Bovatee may request confirmation of billing/shipping details for certain orders (e.g., unusually high totals or mismatch signals). Any review is limited to what is necessary to confirm the transaction.
2) Currency & pricing (USD only)
All transactions, including refunds, are processed exclusively in U.S. Dollars (USD).
If your card or PayPal account uses another currency (GBP/EUR/AUD/CAD, etc.), your provider performs currency conversion using its own exchange rate and may apply foreign transaction fees. These rates and fees are determined by your bank/PayPal, not by Bovatee. Refund amounts may vary slightly due to FX movements and issuer fees.
3) Taxes, duties & what appears at checkout
Any required sales tax/VAT and, where applicable, import duties/brokerage/customs processing that can be integrated into the checkout total will be shown during checkout and charged in USD.
Where the Shipping & Delivery Policy indicates DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) where supported, applicable import charges may be included in your checkout total and no additional payment should be made at delivery. If anyone requests payment upon delivery, contact [email protected] immediately.
All promotions and discount codes apply at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively after an order is placed.
4) Unsupported payment methods
To maintain secure and reliable checkout processing, Bovatee does not accept:
Bank wire transfers
Checks
Cash on Delivery (COD)
Cryptocurrency
If new methods are added in the future, this page will be updated.
5) Authorizations, charges, refunds & disputes
Authorizations
Card issuers may show a pending authorization. Timing for release varies by issuer.
Charges
Your payment method is charged according to checkout confirmation behavior and issuer requirements.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued back to the original funding method in USD. Your bank/PayPal determines how quickly funds appear.
Declines / duplicates
If a payment is declined or you see duplicate pending entries, verify billing details and allow time for pending authorizations to clear. You can also contact [email protected] for help.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact Bovatee first so we can resolve it quickly. Bank disputes/chargebacks can significantly slow resolution.
6) Security & compliance
Checkout is protected using SSL/TLS encryption. Payments are processed through PCI DSS–compliant gateways, and Bovatee does not store full card numbers or CVV. Some issuers (especially in EU/UK) may require 3-D Secure/SCA.
7) Payment troubleshooting (quick solutions)
Confirm CVV and billing ZIP/Postcode match your bank’s records

Try a different card or use PayPal
Try a different browser/device
Ask your bank to approve the online/international purchase
Bovatee aims to respond to payment support messages within 24 hours (Mon–Sun, PST).

If payment methods or security practices change, this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised. Material changes may also be posted on the website.
